Tirunelveli Taekwondo Association is an Apex body for running & managing TAEKWONDO in the District of Tirunelveli & it is affiliated to Tamilnadu Taekwondo Association .TTA is also recognized by Sports & Youth Services Department, Govt of Tamilnadu.
Our Association players are eligible to get the Weightage Certificate from Sports Department for admission in College & Higher Study. Our Medal Winners of National & International Championships are also eligible to get CASH INCENTIVE (Cash Awards) from Sports Department, TAMILNADU.

District Association regularly conducted District Taekwondo Championship once in a year and Gold & Silver medalist of the District Championship will participate in the State Taekwondo Championship.
TTA is organizing Official State Taekwondo Kyorugi & Poomsae Championships in all division like Sub-Junior, Cadet,Junior & Senior every year & sending the Tamilnadu Team to particiapte in recognised National Taekwondo Championships in India.
TTA is also recommending talented Athletes of Tirunelveli by scrutinizing the performance of Athletes for participation in World Taekwondo approved International events round the year.
The Athletes who are practicing and being trained under the TTA registered Clubs are only eligible to participate in all events organized by Tirunelveli Taekwondo Association.
No athletes, Coaches, Officials, Referees & Members unit will be entertained in any events without Identity Cards issued by TTA.
